If there was any doubt of Michigan State starting quarterback Aidan Chiles leaving via the transfer portal, that has been officially squashed.
Chiles took to social media platform X on Friday to thank Spartan Nation and confirm he’ll be back for another season at Michigan State in 2025. You can see the official post by Chiles by clicking here.
Chiles was one of many Michigan State players to thank Spartan Nation for their support this past season on Friday. He, however, ended his post stating he’s excited to “run it back” next year.
Chiles had an up-and-down first year at Michigan State, finishing the season with 2,415 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns.
There was no indication that Chiles would not be back for the 2025 season, but it’s still refreshing to hear for the Spartans that there’s no doubt. He will be expected to have a more productive season in 2025 and build off the lessons learned this past season.
