MSU QB Aidan Chiles is pumped about about the Spartans’ latest transfer portal addition

Michigan State football’s offense got better on Monday night through the transfer portal, and starting quarterback Aidan Chiles is pumped about it.

The Spartans picked up a big-time transfer portal addition on Monday night when Kent State wide receiver Chrishon McCray announced his commitment to Michigan State. McCray was an All-Mid American Conference selection this past season and recorded 81 receptions for 1,315 yards and 13 touchdowns over the last two seasons. Nine of those scores in 2024.

So this transfer portal win obviously fired up the Spartans’ fanbase but it also got Chiles’ attention in a good way. Chiles took to Instagram to comment on McCray’s commitment post, and said “I’m so happy (right now).”

The Spartans have instantly improved its wide receivers room in the past few days with McCray and Middle Tennesse State transfer Omari Kelly’s commitments. Those two alongside sophomore Nick Marsh should create an improved wide receivers unit for Chiles and the Spartans in 2025.
