Michigan State’s new kicker could be a real game-changer for the Spartans this fall.
Jonathan Kim made his Michigan State debut this past weekend, hitting a 47-yard field goal in the season-opening win against Central Michigan. That was a refreshing sight for Spartans fans everywhere after kicking struggles last year. But that apparently wasn’t even Kim’s max distance.
Buy Spartans TicketsKim was quoted this week saying he’s comfortable hitting a 62-yard field goal when there’s no win and that he’s made a 65-yarder in practice before. That’s pretty impressive and could be the difference Michigan State needs in a game or two this fall.
