Michigan State basketball will face arguably its toughest opponent of the season thus far on Sunday afternoon from the Breslin Center.
Michigan State basketball will put its 10-game winning streak on the line in a home matchup against No. 19 Illinois. This will be arguably the biggest game of the week in Big Ten play.
Michigan State comes into this marquee matchup extremely hot. The Spartans haven’t lost since the Maui Invitational in November, and hold a 15-2 overall record and 6-0 mark in Big Ten play.
Illinois has also been playing well as of late, with a 13-4 overall record and 5-2 mark in Big Ten play. The Fighting Illini hammered Indiana on the road earlier this week, and is in the mix with the Spartans for the Big Ten title.
Michigan State is listed as a small favorite in this matchup. Tipoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on Sunday and the game will be televised on CBS.
