Michigan State football will look to get one game closer to bowl eligibility in an intriguing road game at Illinois on Saturday.
The Spartans are a narrow underdog in Saturday’s matchup at Illinois. Michigan State comes into this game with a 4-5 overall record and 2-4 conference record. The Spartans have lost two straight games but had a bye last week to regroup for the final three-game stretch.
Illinois comes into this matchup also on a two-game losing streak. The Fighting Illini are 6-3 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and the game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
