Michigan State hockey remains the top-ranked team in the country for another week.
The updated USCHO.com poll came out on Monday, and the Spartans are still No. 1 in the country. Michigan State received 48 of the 50 first place votes in this week’s poll.
Michigan State went 1-0-1 this past weekend at Penn State, with the Spartans earning four of the six available points in Big Ten play. Michigan State will face in-state rival Michigan in a home-and-home weekend series.
Only three other Big Ten teams were ranked this week: Minnesota (No. 3), Ohio State (No. 8) and Michigan (No. 10).
