Michigan State football wraps up the regular season this week with a lot on the line for the Spartans.
Michigan State will host Rutgers on Saturday afternoon in a must-win situation for the Spartans to reach bowl eligibility. Michigan State beat Purdue this past weekend to snap a three-game losing streak and improve its record to 5-6 overall and 3-5 in Big Ten play. With a win over Rutgers, Michigan State will be bowl-eligible for the first time in three years.
Rutgers comes into this matchup looking to bolster their bowl stock. The Scarlet Knights are 6-5 overall and 3-5 in Big Ten play this year.
