Like the coaches, the media members don’t have Michigan State football as a preseason top 25 team.
The Associated Press (AP) preseason Top 25 poll was released on Monday and to no surprise Michigan State was not included in the rankings. The Spartans failed to receive a single vote in the poll.
Michigan State is coming off a 4-8 season and looking to rebound under a new coaching staff in 2024. The Spartans open the season on August 30 against Florida Atlantic. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
