The Spartans are looking to land a highly-touted offensive tackle from the Lone Star State.
DeMarrion Johnson of Tyler, Texas announced on Tuesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Johnson made the announcement via a post on the social media platform X.
Johnson is an unranked prospect in the 2027 class. He’s listed at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, and plays for Tyler Legacy.
Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to extend an offer to Johnson, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from notable programs such as Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UNLV, UTSA, North Texas and Tulsa.
