Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a big-time tight end in the 2026 class.
Evan Jacobson of Waukee, Iowa announced on Monday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. He announced this recruiting news on the social media platform X.
Jacobson ranks as the No. 8 tight end in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He is also listed as the No. 145 overall prospect and top player from Iowa in the class.
Michigan State is one of 20 schools to extend an offer to Jacobson, according to 247Sports. Some of the other notable schools to offer him includes Auburn, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida State, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, LSU, Miami (FL), Missouri, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.
