Michigan State football has extended an offer to one of the top players from Colorado in the 2026 class.
Three-star defensive lineman Tufanua Ionatana of Englewood, Colo. announced on Sunday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. He shared the recruiting news via social media platform X.
Ionatana is ranked as the No. 52 defensive lineman in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 2 player from Colorado in the class.
Michigan State joins a long list of schools that have extended an offer to Ionatana. According to 247Sports, he holds offers from more than 20 schools. Some of the more notable schools to offer him includes Arizona State, Auburn, Boston College, Cal, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, Pitt, Tennessee, Texas, USC, Utah, Washington State and Wisconsin.
