It’s never too early to look ahead to next year’s college football season.
The 2024-25 college football season wrapped up last week with a National Championship victory for Ohio State over Notre Dame. The Buckeyes are now listed as the favorite to win it all again next year, according to Circa Sports.
The official opening odds for the 2026 National Championship were released on Monday, and Michigan State is listed as a long shot (to no surprise). The Spartans’ odds are posted at +100000 to win the National Championship next year.
Of Big Ten teams, Michigan State has the No. 13 best odds to win the title. They are ahead of Purdue, Northwestern, Rutgers, UCLA and Minnesota.
