Michigan State basketball will be without one of its bench reserves in Sunday’s matchup at Northwestern.
Shortly before tipoff on Sunday, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press posted on X that walk-on guard Nick Sanders will be out against the Wildcats. Solari noted that Sanders was in a walking boot, which would suggest he’ll be missing even more time than just Sunday’s game.
Sanders has played in eight games this year, and is averaging 0.8 points across 1.3 minutes per game. If he’s out longterm, his impact will be mostly felt in practice where he has been said to be a key player on the scout team.
