Michigan State basketball returns to the court on Thursday night looking for its first Big Ten win of the season.
The Spartans enter Thursday night’s home matchup against Penn State with a 0-2 mark in conference play after dropping December games to Wisconsin and Nebraska. Michigan State has won all four games since those two losses and sits at 8-5 overall on the year.
Penn State comes into the Breslin Center with wins in three of their last four games, including an upset of Ohio State. The Nittany Lions are 7-6 overall and 1-1 in Big Ten play this year.
