MSU Basketball at Michigan: Stream, broadcast info, prediction for Saturday

Michigan State basketball heads to Ann Arbor on Saturday night looking to complete a rare season-series sweep of rival Michigan.

The Spartans handled the Wolverines in their first matchup in January, and Michigan State will now look for its first win at Crisler Center since 2019. Michigan State comes into this matchup on a two-game winning streak and holds a 16-9 overall record and 8-6 mark in conference play.

Michigan has had an extremely disappointing season thus far, with an overall record of 8-17 and 3-11 mark in Big Ten play. The Wolverines, however, upset Wisconsin in their last home game last week.

Can Michigan State build on its two-game winning streak and complete the season series sweep of Michigan? Check out my prediction and all of the key game details for this matchup between the Spartans and Wolverines below:

Game Prediction

Prediction: MSU 81, Michigan 77

Michigan State took a massive step in handling Penn State on the road earlier this week. This matchup in Ann Arbor is another opportunity to take an even bigger step forward. Michigan has been struggling all year long but they still have the talent capable of beating the Spartans and they’ll certainly be motivated to win this rivalry game. If Michigan State is going to ever come close to hitting its ceiling this year, it needs to win games like this one on Saturday. Maybe I’m a sucker, but I think they do just that in a tight, narrow win over the Wolverines.
