It's not about the big flashy gifts at Christmas time, it's about bringing you together with your loved ones, and the gift idea Sophie Hinchcliffe came up with will be treasured and loved by them - even long after the chocolate has gone.
She posted a video on her Instagram page showing how she'd utilised Hobbycraft letters by putting velvet in them, helping them to look more luxe, and then stuffing them full of chocolate goodies.
She captioned the video: "DIY Personalised Sweetie Letters. I absolutely LOVED making these! I bought the cardboard letters from @hobbycrafthq, lined them with red felt, filled with the best chocs, covered with cling film and added a bow! TADAA!
"I love em! And who doesn’t love chocolate at Christmas eh. Thank you for the inspiration @chanallyuk. Have a wonderful afternoon everyone."
She littered the post with lollipop emojis, love hearts and hands in the air too.
The wooden fillable letters cost just £5 each, and the full alphabet is available from Hobbycraft so you can choose initials or spell out whole words.
Made from plywood, the letter is a hollow shape, so if you don't want to fill with chocolate, you can choose something else such as flowers, pom poms, and so much more.
In the comments, people were praising the idea, saying how 'lovely' it is.
One mum wrote: "This is soooooo cool!!!!! Definitely going to rob this idea for Christmas Eve!"
Another joked that they wouldn't get many sweets commenting: "Sucks having the letter L I'd want my name to begin with a W or M just to get more sweets!"
Someone else said: "Would be great if you could find a recyclable version of the cling film!"
