Sophie Hinchliffe - aka Mrs Hinch - was left devastated as her young son, Ronnie, was rushed to hospital with temperatures of over 40C. The Instagram cleaning guru took to the stories section of her Instagram account to break the news with followers, explaining her absence of usual activity from the platform through her three-year-old's shock ailment.
Apologising for her 'radio silence' to friends, fans and followers alike in an Instagram story yesterday, Mrs Hinch explained the terrifying incident which had taken place, leaving her toddler hospitalised on a children's ward. The 33-year-old, who is also a mother to two-year-old Lennie, cited that her 'gut' told her that her little boy needed looking over further after an initial visit to A&E.
Speaking to her following, she wrote: "Hello everyone. So sorry for the radio silence over the last week. Everything just feels like fog right now.

"Ron's temperature spiked to over 40C and his neck was swelling with limited head movement. I couldn't keep meds or fluids in him. We were taken to A&E and sent home with antibiotics and it just didn't feel right. My gut told me 'no'. So after phoning 111 we were taken back in and thankfully admitted."
Sophie then went on to explain that while her eldest child was admitted and had been given antibiotics via an IV - showing signs of improvement - the family still have a little further to go just yet. She went on: "Since having IV antibiotics we are seeing a really really slow improvement but we will need to be in here for a little longer yet, as we need to get his temperature satisfactory and need the antibiotics to kick in.
"Absolutely nothing prepares you for something like this does it. Just being on a children's ward, seeing so many innocent little arms bandaged with cannulas. I just can't comprehend the whole thing. But I just wanted to check in on here very quickly whilst Ron's asleep."
Sophie then went on to thank her followers for their support in trying times, urging her fans to make the most of the spring sunshine while it lasts. She added: "I share so much of my life on here, the good and the bad, I have a fantastic support network from my followers, so I just wanted to say thank you for so many messages, I haven't vanished I promise.
"Enjoy this beautiful sunshine, the fresh air, everything. What I would give to be back home with all my boys. Lots of love to you all and catch up very soon xx."
Mrs Hinch also shared that her son Ronnie 'smiled away' in the ambulance, and 'loved' seeing all of the different buttons and wires - before adding: "What did we ever do to deserve children? They make this world so beautiful."
