If you're looking for a decent cleaning product that helps clean those pesky burn marks off your electric hob, then Mrs Hinch fans know just what to use.
While electric and ceramic cooking hobs are known for being easy to clean, they can also be susceptible to burn marks and grime building up over time, leading to a less sleek appearance. Luckily, fans of the cleaning guru Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, have come to the rescue with some advice.
After one homeowner took to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page to ask for help with this particular problem, many members were quick to recommend a cheap hob cleaning cream that you can purchase for as little as £1.49.
The frustrated user shared a snap of her hob and wrote: "My kids were making pancakes and left the frying pan on the hob for too long! I'm not sure if it's scratched or has taken the top layer off? Any advice please on how clean as its not even a year old!"
The page, which currently boasts over 627,000 members, was clearly the right place to look for help, as many were quick to respond with a cost-effective item that could make the hob sparkling and clean again - Hob Brite.
"Hob Brite. Rub it in leave it for awhile and then a good scrub will bring it up like new xx", recommended one user.
"Hob Brite and a hob scraper used cautiously x", agreed a second.
"Buy Hob Bright & also a hob scraper there both really gd ..hob bright should work ..its a creme x", commented a third helpful member.
Hob Brite cream cleaner is described as "a powerful formula that will cut through the toughest burnt on food and bacteria, leaving your hob sparkling clean again."
If you don't have any of the cream cleaner at home, then you can purchase it for as little as £1.49 from Asda, B&Q and Ocado.
Hob Brite was not the only cheap cream hob cleaner that was recommended by homeowners, as other helpful members mentioned that the cheap £1 Astonish Cream Cleaner was also effective at removing stains from your hob.
