Mrs Hinch fans have shared the best way to clean oven racks, making them look brand new again, on social media.
They can be notoriously difficult to clean, especially if with months worth of food debris and grime from sitting in the oven. Although the task may seem like a chore, there's a simple way to get them sparking again with no scrubbing required.
So, if you're not fortunate enough to have a self-cleaning oven and need to clean the dirty trays by hand, fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have got you covered.
The Express reports that one person was struggling with build-up food and dirt on their oven trays on a Facebook group for avid cleaning fans.
Seeking advice from the group members, she said “What's the best cleaner for oven trays and racks please?”
Many people were quick to offer solutions, but one of the most popular answers was using Oven Pride.
One said: “Definitely Oven Pride. Brings them up like new and no scrubbing.”
Another added: “Oven Pride. It’s the easiest way I have come across.
“Put 3/4 of the bottle in a bag with racks and try to rub what’s left on the inside of the oven. Leave overnight and rinse in the morning.”
And a third suggested: “I use Elbow Grease cooker cleaner/Oven Pride (pretty much similar thing).
Put the racks in the bag with the liquid and leave for a few hours, then pour the remaining liquid in the cooker bottom and spread around the base, wait and wipe/wash out. Easy.”
You can buy Oven Pride Complete Oven Cleaner in most good supermarkets, such as Asda and Tesco, for £4.
But people are warned that it contains some very harsh chemicals, so it's important to take care when using it to clean.
Some other popular suggestions included soaking the oven racks and trays in hot water along with a dishwasher tablet, and using a scourer to banish any stubborn food remains.
