If you live with someone who has got long hair, or you yourself do, you'll know how annoying it can be when your drains get clogged full of it.
You'll know the feeling all too well of taking a shower, and suddenly the water rising up around you, instantly knowing the reason why. It's not just showers that can get clogged up either, it's also sinks and baths.
But what is the best way to resolve the issue?
Various cleaning gurus have taken to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group to share their fail-safe methods of removing hair, without using drain unblocker.
One mum asked for advice as her drains were blocking up thanks to her daughter's super long hair.
She wrote: "Best drain unblocker, please? My daughter has waist-length hair and malts like a cat, so I think this could be the problem. Help."
Rather than using an actual drain unblocker, innovative Mrs Hinch fans said that one of the best things to use was hair removal cream as it "essentially dissolves the hair."
Someone wrote: "I saw a recommendation recently to put hair removal cream down the bath and sink to unblock the drain. I tried it at the weekend and it worked a treat. I left it for about 10 minutes, before rinsing away."
Another said: "Hair removal cream, any will do. It essentially dissolves the hair."
Hair removal cream can be purchased from some retailers for as little as £1.
A Mrs Hinch fan commented: "Hair removal cream. At my old house when I got out of the shower it was more like a bath when it was that clogged with hair.
"One tube of hair removal cream (water it down a little bit so it goes down) leave 30 minutes and leave the hot tap on for five to 10 minutes."
