Mrs Hinch fan praises Amazon mop product but cleaners are all saying the same thing

One Mrs Hinch fan has shared a unique mop product they found on Amazon, but other cleaning enthusiasts all had the same response.

Mopping floors with a traditional bucket can make the process take significant amounts of time, as the bucket must frequently be emptied and refilled with clean water.

If it isn't, you will find you are mopping your floors with dirty water — and perhaps leaving them looking worse than when you began.

However, posting on the Mrs Hinch cleaning tips and trick Facebook group, one Facebook user claimed to have found a solution to this problem.

They uploaded a photo of a mop they had recently purchased that has two separate compartments for dirty and clean water — theoretically eliminating the need for constant refills.

They wrote: "Just ordered this and i love the fact that they have separate compartments, keeping the clear water clean!"

Since being shared, the post has attracted almost 5,500 likes and over 8,500 comments.

Some Facebook users were impressed by the innovative product, with one stating: "I have one of these from the range! They’re handy!"

A second wrote: "I ordered one a few years ago now. I love it. Hated mopping before I had it cause you're basically using dirty water to 'clean' your floor."

"I have this I love mine it also has a side part to empty the water," shared a third.

"I have this, it’s very good," another simply said.

However, many cleaning enthusiasts thought there was a major flaw with the design of the mop bucket, and were quick to share their thoughts.

One Facebook user commented: "But you still have to dunk the dirty mop in the clean water - making the clean water now dirty - it doesn’t even make sense."

"You dip the dirty mop in the clean water and it doesn’t stay clean," a second shared.

One unsatisfied owner said: "Hated mine, both sections get dirty. Harder to clean too."

"But you put the dirty mop into the clean to rinse therefore making the clean water dirty," another argued.

A fifth stated: "Unfortunately every one I've tried is horrible. It does spin out dirty water, but doesn't rinse the head so just putting dirty mop head, with whatever you mopped up, right back into clean mop water."
