Mrs Brown’s Boys fans in disbelief as Bono actor looks dramatically different in new snap

Fans of Mrs Brown's Boys were in shock after seeing a new snap of one of the show's young stars.

Jamie O’Carroll has played Bono on the BBC sitcom since he was 5.

His parents, Amanda Woods and Danny O'Carroll, also star in the show as Betty Brown and Buster Brady.

In a new snap posted on Instagram, Jamie looks dramatically different to the young child who first appeared on our screens in 2012.

The actor is also a keen sportsman and is a member of Ulster Rugby's youth side.

The photo, posted by Danny, shows the teenager now standing inches above both his parents and they pose after an Ulster Rugby game.

Danny captioned the photo: "Proud Mam and Dad. @jamieocarrollofficial @officialulsterrugby."

Former Ireland international Robbie Keane was among the people commenting on the post who couldn't believe how grown up the 15-year-old had become.

He wrote: "Jesus he’s getting big."

A second commenter wrote: "Can’t get over him!!! What a credit to you both!"

A third said: "He’s so tall and gorgeous."

While a fourth added: "So grown up!!"

And someone else said: "Beautiful photo omg Jamie when did you get so grown up . Lovely family."
