A mystery winner known only as "Mr R" has just become a millionaire.
The lucky winner, scooped the £1,000,000 prize on the EuroMillions European Millionaire Maker draw on Friday, February 3. Mr R, from Lancashire, bought the ticket using the National Lottery app.
EuroMillions Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw but the special draw on February 3 saw 100 millionaires made in one night across the European EuroMillions community with 30 of these amazing prizes won by ticket-holders in the UK.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at the National Lottery, said, “What incredible news for Mr. R for winning this fantastic prize, he has become a millionaire overnight and can look forward to making amazing memories as the latest National Lottery winner.”
Mr R had played a Lucky Dip, using the app.
Thanks to National Lottery players, £30m is generated each week for National Lottery-funded projects. This money helps support everything from the local charity making a difference where you live through to helping our nations' athletes win medals at last summer’s Commonwealth Games.
To date, over £47bn has been raised for National Lottery Good Causes, with more than 670,000 individual grants awarded.
