The spokesperson for MoveOn revealed that the billboard is strategically placed in the vicinity of the hotel where Kennedy is expected to announce his departure from the presidential race on Friday.
The mobile billboard features a series of slides showcasing quotes from Kennedy, in which he referred to Trump as 'barely human,' 'a terrible human being,' and a 'sociopath.' This move by MoveOn comes amidst discussions between the Kennedy and Trump campaigns regarding the potential endorsement of Trump by Kennedy. Notably, Trump is scheduled to hold a campaign rally in Arizona today.
MoveOn is not the only Democratic-aligned group actively opposing Kennedy's campaign. The organization has joined forces with Progress Now Arizona, a progressive group focused on Arizona politics, to launch the mobile billboard. This collaborative effort is part of a broader strategy by Democratic groups to counter Kennedy's political aspirations.
