Arsenal target Moussa Diaby has already warned Mikel Arteta of a transfer roadblock that could prevent Edu from securing his signature. The Gunners are making a serious effort to sign the 22-year-old ahead of the summer window, according to German outlet SportsBild.
The France international has managed 29 goal contributions in 40 games for Bayer Leverkusen this season, staking a claim as one of Europe's most exciting prospects. Diaby's impressive displays for the German side have also courted the interest of Manchester United, Newcastle and AS Roma, according to The Sun.
However, while the winger has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this summer, Diaby seems to have already pledged his allegiance to former side Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman moved from the French giants to Leverkusen nearly three years ago for £13.5 million after it became clear that game time would be limited under the stewardship of Thomas Tuchel.

Despite having been ushered out of Parc des Princes, with opportunities of the essence, Diaby has admitted that a return to Paris will always be on the cards, handing Arsenal a potential roadblock in the coming months. In an interview with L’Équipe, the Frenchman said: "I am the first supporter of PSG, but when I left it was to have more playing time.
"I tell myself that we have to leave to come back stronger. Why not come back to PSG one day with a different status? One of my goals is to go to a club like that with that status one day."
The Leverkusen hierarchy are said to have slapped an £84m asking price on Diaby in a bid to fend off interest. The north Londoners reportedly haven't been deterred by the evaluation, however, and will look to conclude a deal if Champions League qualification is secured. However, in another twist to the tale, the SportsBild add that if the winger decides to force an exit then Leverkusen would be 'willing' to sanction Diaby's departure at just £63m.
