Mountain rescue teams have joined the frantic search for a Scots man who vanished at a loch.
David Mooney, from Paisley, had been on a weekend fishing trip with friends at Loch Cluanie in the Highlands when he disappeared.
He was last seen around 1.30pm on Easter Sunday after the 43-year-old left his friends unexpectedly.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for David after he failed to get in touch with friends or family, which is 'out of character'.
It's thought David got a bus or another form of transport from the A87 to head back to Paisley.
However, mountain rescue teams have now been drafted in to help with the search as another day passes with no trace of David.
Kintail Mountain Rescue wrote on Facebook on Tuesday: "It’s been a busy few days over the Easter break for the Team, who have been assisting the police in the search for Mr David Mooney, missing from the Loch Cluanie/Glen Shiel area since Sunday afternoon.
"Enquiries are still ongoing - should you have any information on the whereabouts of Mr Mooney, please contact Police Scotland."
David is described as 5ft7in tall, of medium build with short black hair.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a black Berghaus jacket, green fishing trousers, black trainers and a yellow hat.
Anyone who has information about David’s whereabouts or who thinks they may have seen him since 1.30pm on Sunday is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference number 2423 of 17 April, 2022.
