Motorists warned of disruption as two Lanarkshire roads to close for five days next month

Motorists are warned about travel disruption as two Monklands roads are set to shut for five days next month.

West Avenue in Plains is closing from May 2-6 for carriageway resurfacing works.

This will apply from Ballochnie Drive to Livingston Drive and those two roads will be available as diversions for motorists.

Utility works will result in the closure of a Coatbridge's Kirkton Crescent from May 9-13, between St Boswells Drive and Kirkston Place.

Drivers are asked to use Earlston Crescent and Carnbroe Road as alternative routes during the closure.
