Drivers are facing yet more disruption on another major route into Kilmarnock town centre with roadworks planned.
Works will be carried out on Low Glencairn Street and the junction where it meets Holmquarry Road starting next week.
The project will begin on Monday, April 4 and is set to be ongoing for up to six weeks.
The work is being carried out by SP Energy Networks who will be installing new underground cabling ducts.
It's a blow to drivers who are already dealing with delays on Queen's Drive heading in and out of Kilmarnock town centre.
This means anyone travelling south from the town will face disruption unless they head towards Crosshouse and Moorfield.
