Motorist charged with dangerous driving after allegedly travelling at 120mph on A82

A motorist has been charged after allegedly driving at 120mph on the A82 between Dumbarton and Balloch.

Police Scotland said a driver had been charged with dangerous driving after the alleged incident on Saturday.

In a statement, they said: "On Saturday 29 January 2022, Officers from Roads Policing Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Police Division caught a driver travelling at 120mph on the A82 between Dumbarton and Balloch.

"The driver has been charged with dangerous driving and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
