A 31-year-old driver was tragically killed in a road accident this morning.
Road policing officers are now appealing for information after the fatal crash in Johnstone.
Police were called to Beith Road at its junction with Overton Road around 3.30am after a blue Vauxhall Astra was involved in a collision with a wall.

The driver, who was alone in the car, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where she was later pronounced dead.
The road was closed while crash investigations were carried out and reopened around 7am.
Sergeant James Crawford, of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the car before the crash to get in touch with us.
“Likewise, anyone who may have dashcam footage of that area please review it and contact police with anything that may be relevant.”
