A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Middleton.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the smash on Manchester Old Road at around 10.15pm last night (Monday). The biker - a male - was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary from the scene.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said. Eyewitnesses said officers closed off a stretch of the road after the crash last night.

In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a motorbike on Manchester Old Road in Middleton yesterday (Monday 10 July 2023) at 10.15pm.
"The male rider suffered injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening and was taken to the MRI for treatment."
