A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car.
Police were called to the incident, which closed the A41 in Chester between Pepper Street and Rowton Bridge Road, at 11.58am on Friday (August 19). The crash involved a silver BMW and a black Kawasaki motorcycle..
The rider of the motorbike was rushed to Aintree Hospital and the driver of the car was uninjured, reports CheshireLive. According to traffic news service Inrix, the road was closed until 1.35pm.

A police spokesperson said: "Police and ambulance attended and the rider of the motorcycle has been taken to Aintree hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured."
