Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A82 just outside Crianlarich.
The incident happened around 8.30am this morning and involved a silver Honda motorcycle and a white Clio.
Emergency services attended and a 40-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Police described his condition as stable. No one else was injured.
The road was closed for vehicle recovery and crash investigation work and re-opened around 2.10pm.
Officers have now launched an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Colin Morrison said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing with anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.
“If you saw what happened then please make contact with us, particularly if you have dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation.”
