A motorcyclist was fighting for his life after colliding with a vehicle on the A48 near Swansea on Wednesday afternoon (April 26). Late on Wednesday, police said the 51-year-old man remained in a critical condition in hospital.
The incident took place at around 4:20pm between Llangyelach and Penllergaer. His family has been informed. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen what happened, or has dashcam footage.

Swansea Police issued a statement on Twitter. It said: "At around 4.20pm today (Wed, April 26) officers attended a report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the A48 between Llangyfelach and Penllergaer Swansea. As a result of the collision, a 51-yr-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital.
"He remains in a critical condition and family has been informed. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed what happened or has dashcam footage to please contact us quoting reference number 2300133954."
