Motorcyclist hospitalised after horror crash on M50 as Gardai appeal for witnesses

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a major collision in Dublin left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

A male motorcyclist (late 20s) remains in Beamount Hospital after the crash, which took place on the slip road from Ballymun as they were heading onto the M50 southbound.

The motorcyclist collided with a car on the slip road.

The male was removed from the scene to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The female driver (late 30s) of the car, and sole occupant was uninjured.

Garda Forensic Collision investigators are currently at scene conducting a technical examination. Local diversions are in place and the road remains closed at this time.

Gardaí are appealing to any road users, either from the M50 or the Slip Road, at Ballymun who may have video/dash cam footage or anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward to them.
