A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car in the Highlands.
The 65-year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene after the collision, which took place on the A835 near Garve.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash near the village, which is around 25 miles north of Inverness, at about 11.10am on Saturday.
Nobody else was injured in the incident, which led to the road being closed as officers from Police Scotland investigated what happens.
As reported by the BBC, drivers were asked to avoid the area.
