A MOTORCYCLIST is in critical condition in hospital after a crash which involved a car near Invermoriston.
Emergency services were called at around 10.30am on Saturday, August 10, following a report of an incident involving a grey BMW car and an orange KTM motorbike on the A87 at Bunloyne junction.
A 53-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where his injuries have been described as “critical”.
A 29-year-old male driver of the BMW car was arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence and has been released pending further enquiries.
Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward as enquiries are ongoing.
Sergeant David Miller, of the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who witnessed what happened or who saw either vehicle on the road prior to the crash to get in touch.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 1130 of August 10.”
