Motherwell centre-back Bevis Mugabi has signed a new deal until 2024.
The Ugandan international was one of a number of players who started the campaign with less than a year to run on their contracts.
But he has provided manager Graham Alexander and the Fir Park fanbase a big boost by committing his future in claret and amber.
The popular defender first joined the club in September 2019 on a short-term deal. He's established himself as a key figure and has gone on make 62 appearances in ML1.
Alexander said: "We’re delighted that Bevis has committed himself to us for the next two seasons.
“He’s been a constant in our team, and even though we have seen a great improvement from him over the last 12 months, we still believe there’s more to come from him.
“He’s a great character to have at our club and he wants to win.”
