Motherwell are set to play Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht next month as part of their preparations for the Scottish Premiership returning on December 17.
The Steelmen entered a five-week break for the World Cup on November 12 after a 1-1 draw at St Johnstone.
Boss Steven Hammell will be putting his players through their paces in the coming weeks to ensure they are up to speed for the visit of St Mirren when the Premiership resumes.
And it appears the Fir Park side are heading for the sunny climbes of Greece for a warm-weather training camp after Anderlecht announced last night that they will play Motherwell in a friendly on Tuesday, December 6.
The match will be played on the Greek Island of Crete at the OFI Stadium. No kick-off times has been announced for the clash, which will likely be behind closed doors.
A statement on the Anderlecht website states: "Sporting will stay in Greece from 30 November to 7 December.
"Two friendlies are scheduled in Crete: on Saturday 3 December, RSCA will face OFI Crete, followed by a friendly against Motherwell FC on Tuesday 6 December."
The Steelmen themselves have yet to announce any details of their plans during the break.
