Scott Fox has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2023 at Motherwell.
The goalkeeper linked up with the Steelmen in 2020 but a knee injury ruled him out of most of last season.
He joined Morton on loan as they secured their Championship status in a play-off against Airdrie before returning to Motherwell at the start of this season.
Aged 34, he has since been challenging Liam Kelly for the number one spot at Fir Park and despite not playing in claret and amber yet, Fox has secured a new deal.
His experience includes extensive spells with Partick Thistle and Ross County.
'Well boss Graham Alexander said: “Scott has shown since the summer what a quality goalkeeper we have to compete with Liam Kelly.
“He trains and prepares like a top professional, and we know he’s ready for any opportunity that might come his way.
“We’re very happy to secure him for another year after this season.”
