Motherwell fans decorated Airbles Road with claret and amber flags as they marched up to Fir Park for their Europa Conference League qualifier.
Fans massed at Duchess Park at 7pm before heading up to the game, which kicked off at 7.45pm.
A bus stop and lamp-posts were spray-painted as fans tried to bring a bit of festivity to the game.
Around 500 supporters marched up Airbles Road to the game, which Sligo Rovers won 1-0, with an Aidan Keena strike.
The second leg of the tie takes place at the Showground next Thursday evening.
