Motherwell's Bevis Mugabi has been called up to the Uganda squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in June.
The versatile defender has been a regular for the Cranes after establishing himself as a fans' favourite at Fir Park with his impressive performances.
His nation will begin their mission of reaching AFCON 2023 when they face Algeria on June 4th away from home in their first Group F qualification match.
A second match is against Niger in Uganda four days later. Tanzania are the other opponent in Uganda's group.
Mugabi has 13 caps for his country, six of which have been earned while at Motherwell.
It follows on from attacking midfielder Ross Tierney being called up for Republic of Ireland u21s ahead of their crucial UEFA u21s Championship.
Ireland are currently in third place in their group before this round of fixtures and four points behind leaders Italy.
They face off against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Italy, with the group winners qualifying for the Euros along with the best runners up.
Tierney's are currently four points behind Netherlands who are, as it stands, the best runners-up.
Captain and vice-captain Stephen O'Donnell and Liam Kelly are in the Scotland squad for June's World Cup play-off matches that could book the nation's first berth at the tournament since 1998.
