Nathan McGinley has signed a contract extension at Motherwell, keeping him at FIr Park until summer 2024.
The 25-year-old defender has made 52 appearances for the Steelmen and becomes the latest player to commit his future to the Fir Park club, following Bevis Mugabi and Scott Fox both signing extensions in recent weeks.
Gaffer Graham Alexander revelaed in today's pre-Rangers press conference that a new deal was about to be announced for one of his players, and the former Forest Green Rovers star is the man in question.
Commenting on the new deal, Alexander told the club's website: "Nathan has shown us that he’s an excellent defender with all the attributes we need in our team.
“Now his future is sorted for the next couple of seasons, he can fully concentrate on helping us win games and improve on the qualities he has already.”
McGinley is set to make his 53rd appearance in claret and amber on Sunday when Motherwell travel to Ibrox to face Rangers.
