Motherwell manager Graham Alexander says the Steelmen are assessing three member of their playing squad ahead of tomorrow's Premiership match with St Mirren.
The Fir Park club are without a league win in 11 attempts but the top six is still within their grasp, currently sitting eighth.
A victory over former boss and current Saints manager Stephen Robinson would go a long way to boosting those hopes ahead of facing Livingston next Saturday, the final game pre-split.
Training has been disrupted over the international break with Covid impacting a few players and staff at Motherwell.
Alexander says that everyone has recovered in time for the game with the Buddies, but players will need to be assessed before action gets underway.
The 50-year-old said: "It was a good couple of weeks. We have had a good training week this week but we had five away on international duty and then we had some Covid issues, including myself.
"There weren't many in the first week. We have worked on what we want to do this Saturday.
"It's easy for me as I can just come back in and crack on. But it can take it out of you physically sometimes. We'll see how they guys are, as we have monitored the last couple of days.
"We have got everyone back but some have missed a significant period of the last two weeks with Covid, but we will need to see how they are.
"We will see if they can take part tomorrow. It was three players and three staff so there was a bit going about. But everyone recovered well."
There's pressure on the Motherwell players to secure a first Premiership win of 2022, and Alexander says that objective is above a top six push this Saturday.
He added: "It's not about where we finish in the league right now, it's about trying to win the game on Saturday. We need to work on what we want to do attacking-wise, defensively and putting St Mirren on the back foot.
"We need to try and create opportunities for us to score. You can talk about the past or the future, but all we can focus on is the game.
"We can't talk about anything else other than getting our best mindset and getting our best physical condition. We have focused on this game and this game only."
