SA Police say a mother and young son were stabbed after the woman noticed thieves breaking into her car in Adelaide.
Police say the 47-year-old woman woke up about 4:40am after hearing the noise of three men breaking into her car on Young Street in Unley.
They say the men then ran towards King William Road and she chased them, joined by her young son.
The woman and boy were then involved in an altercation with them and received non-life-threatening stab wounds.
They were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police located a knife nearby.
Police described the first suspect as being of Caucasian appearance and 175cm tall, with long brown hair and wearing a hooded black jacket.
The second and third men were of African appearance and 165cm tall, with slim builds and short dark hair.
