Most 'sickening' Halloween costumes chosen by celebs - including Will Smith slap

A load of celebrities go all out for Halloween and get dressed up in some lavish and outrageous costumes. There have been some incredible outfits this year, from Heidi Klum's bizarre worm to Kylie Jenner's Bride of Frankenstein.

However, some famous faces have perhaps gone too far in embracing the spirit of the spooky season and caused controversy with their outfit choices. The likes of Megan Fox and Billie Eilish have been slammed by fans, with some branding their costumes 'sick and twisted' and accusing them of being 'insensitive'. Here is a look at some of the most offensive ones.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

This A-list couple are facing a strong backlash over two different Halloween outfits.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly had fetish inspired costumes, with the actress wearing fishnet stockings and latex underwear in a photo shoot.

She was seen on her knees wearing bondage gear while being 'fed' by her boyfriend.

"On Sundays we take communion," said Megan in the caption, followed by a prayer emoji and a rosary beads.

While the rapper, real name Colson Baker, was dressed as a priest, leading to the pair being slammed for 'mocking the Catholic church'

"What happened to cultural appropriation? Why is it okay to mock the Catholic faith. It’s absolutely abhorrent and offensive and I’m so sick of the double standard!" fumed one person.

Another chimed in: "I'm not catholic but this is so WRONG AND IN SO MANY WAYS making fun of religion . Respect required respect so you guys lost mine."

Their second 'offensive' outfit was another couple's costume of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

Machine Gun Kelly was seen snorting fake cocaine over Megan's breasts in one video the pair posted to Instagram, which fans branded 'not cool.'

The View

We all remember what happened in March this year, when Will Smith. slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.

The Hollywood actor stormed on stage after the evening's host made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Jade, who has alopecia, looked visibly upset when Chris joked he was excited to see her in GI Jane 2, a film in which Demi Moore shaved her head for the role.

Wanting to stand up for his wife, Will marched towards Rock and gave him a smack across the face before returning to his seat and shouting: "Keep my wife's name out your f***ing mouth."

Awkwardly, someone on American talk show The View decided to dress a child in an outfit depicting the violent moment.

In a segment titled 'Boo Are You Wearing?', featuring costumes inspired by the year's big topics, one of the child models wore a head-to-toe gold bodysuit.

This was to depict an Academy Award, but the most shocking part was the red handprint painted over their cheek.

"We do not want to endorse violence of any kind, but we couldn't help but talk about one of the hottest hot topics this year," said Ashley Alderfer Kaufman, the talk show's wardrobe supervisor.

"So, we have our interpretation, we have an Oscars statue, we call this 'The Oscars Slap,' and he has a red face paint on the statue."

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish managed to cause controversy with her couple's outfit with new beau Jesse Rutherford.

The American singers, who went public with their age-gap romance earlier this month, were slammed for their "sick and twisted" costumes.

Billie, 20, went dressed as a baby, while her boyfriend, 21, transformed into an old man - seemingly as a dig at their haters.

The Happier Than Ever hitmaker wore a bonnet and diaper, which she paired with a blonde wig, pink slippers and an outfit emblazoned with teddy bears.

Wrinkled Jesse sported a bald cap complete with grey tufts of hair and also dyed his moustache and eyebrows grey.

The pair didn't post the costumes on their own social media, but they were shared to Twitter by Pop Crave.

In response, one person wrote: "That Billie eilish costume is extremely disturbing and i absolutely hate it everytime it crosses my timeline."

"She's of legal age and all but this couples costume feels uncomfortable.," another said, while a third person tweeted: "I wish I could wash my eyes with soap and scrub this from my mind."

Another wrote: "Billie Eilish and Jessie Rutherford’s matching Halloween costumes is incredibly sick and twisted - especially with their age difference and power imbalance.

"It's not funny or chic, its not poking fun, it’s disturbing, and the adults in her life are letting her down once again."

Some fans saw the funny side of their costumes, with one person tweeting: "I have ALWAYS 'LOVED'@billieeilish sense of humor. This shows her as she is, HILARIOUS ! All you silly people need a sense of Humor. Love it Billie."

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner dressed up as Jessie from Toy Story - but added a sexy twist to her outfit that has caused quite the stir.

The 26-year-old flashed her her toned midriff when wearing a white shirt with a large collar, buttons, and yellow cuff detailing.

The incredible cowgirl costume was completed with pigtails, a cowboy hat, a big belt and boots.

But the fashion-lover put on a rather cheeky display as she showed off a racy pair of denim underwear in her cut out cow print trousers.

To add to the theme she had a backround featuring the Toy Story logo and the clouds wallpaper from Andy's bedroom.

Sharing a line from the hit movie, she penned: ''Well aren't you just the sweetest space toy.''

It's an outfit that would make Woody and Buzz blush - and some people thought she had ruined a childhood favourite.

Kim Kardashian

It wasn't actually Kim Kardashian's outfit that caused a stir this year - but the ones she chose for her kids did.

Kim transformed into X-Men villain Mystique by getting into some bright blue latex, which was completed with red shoulder-length hair and bright yellow eyes.

Aside from the fact she rocked up to a birthday party that wasn't fancy dress, there wasn't anything wrong with Kim's great outfit.

But fans were concerned that she dressed up her four kids as 'icons'.

North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, were transformed into Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, Sade Adu and Eazy-E.

Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner were clearly fans as they reacted with a flurry of love heart emojis on Kim's Instagram post.

But many slammed Kim for dressing her kids up in outfits they clearly had not chosen themselves, suggesting they would prefer to be super heroes or something a bit more spooky.

"Uhm… they're children Kim. Are you sure they don’t wanna dress up like minions or something? Just saying lol," one fan asked.

"They wanted to be Fortnite characters kimberly," suggested another, while a third added: "He looking like I wanted to be Spider-Man."

There were those who praised the outfits, with one fan writing: "Omgggg. Too iconic and amazing not to post."

Although there was another awkward element to the oufits, as a few people compared Saint's Snoop Dog outfit to dad Kanye West, saying that he was the 'spitting image' of the rapper.
