For 2022, UK Baby Names has published its list of the 100 top names for boys and girls, as well as a 'trending' list of names - and people may be surprised to know that Gary is back on that list.
We were warned in recent years that the name Gary could become "extinct", but the fact that the name appears on the trending list could be a sign that it's making a comeback.
Also making an appearance on the trending list are William, Matthew and Peter for boys, and Olivia, Sarah and Emma for girls.
