The New York Jets will not play a “vast majority” of their starters Monday against the Falcons, per SNY’s Connor Hughes.
Head coach Robert Saleh was going back and forth on the decision, as the injury to QB Zach Wilson certainly seemed to weigh heavily on his mind as a factor in this decision.
Among the #Jets who will not play tonight: Carl Lawson, Joe Flacco, Corey Davis, Elijah Moore & many others https://t.co/2RBrQ4Vs9j

QB Joe Flacco, as expected, will be among the players not playing tonight, meaning it will be Mike White and Chris Streveler under center.
Also not expected to play, per Hughes, are Carl Lawson, Corey Davis, Elijah Moore and others.
With just one preseason game left, it’s possible, but not a guarantee, the next time we see these guys in action in a game will be in 20 days, when the Jets open the season against the Baltimore Ravens.
