Most handsome man in the world deemed to be Bridgerton star, 'according to science'

He rose to global stardom with his breakout performance in Bridgerton, he's had the honour of hosting Saturday Night Live and he's won plenty of awards for his acting.

And now, Regé-Jean Page has been named the world's most handsome man.

A mathematical ratio used to determine attractiveness has established that British actor, Page, is more handsome than any other male celebrity.

That's according to UK facial surgeon to the stars, Dr. Julian De Silva, who has used "science" to come up with the top three most attractive male celebs.

Using the so-called Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, Dr. De Silva found that Page is 93.65 per cent accurate to the standard.

"Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page is the most handsome man in the world, according to science," Dr. De Silva wrote on Instagram.

"The 34-year-old British actor - Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings in the hit Netflix series - was found to be 93.65% accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi - which measures physical perfection.

"Men In Black star Chris Hemsworth was second with 93.53%, Black Panther hunk Michael B Jordan was third with 93.46%."

After achieving worldwide recognition for his role as Simon Basset on the first season of Netflix period drama, Bridgerton, Page's stock has continued to soar and he is consistently linked with becoming the next James Bond - he is currently third favourite for the role of 007 after Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavill.

The 35-year-old has won MTV and NAACP awards, while he was also nominated for an Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Page can now add the title of world's most handsome man to his list of accolades.
