If you love going out for a roast on a Sunday, then you're probably going to want to keep reading this.
That's because a study has revealed which parts of the country are paying the most for their Yorkshire Puds and roasties each week.
The research, conducted by savings site VoucherCodes.co.uk, examined the cost of a Sunday roast in almost 70 city centre pubs within major chains such as Harvester, Greene King and J D Wetherspoons.
Unsurprisingly, the average cost of a Sunday roast in London (£11.53) was 40 percent more than that in Birmingham (£8.24) which was found to be the most affordable city.
Of the three pub chains studied, Greene King was found to have the biggest price difference across the venues analysed, as it offers a range of different menus at various locations.
The chain's London Silver Cross pub charges £13.49 for a meat roast, which is 125 percent more expensive than a similar meal at the Hunters Moon in Birmingham or the Wackum Inn in Bristol (both £5.99).
That's a £7.50 difference within the same pub group, but it should be noted that customers are served entirely different plates of food from each menu.
In comparison, Wetherspoons had the most consistent prices across the board, with only an 85p difference between its cheapest locations (Newcastle, Nottingham, Southampton, Aberdeen, Swansea, Norwich, Brighton, Coventry, Leicester, Derby, Bournemouth, Stoke, Bristol, Birmigham) and it's most expensive in London's The Liberty Bounds.
The cheapest 'Spoons roast will set you back £8.75, while the more pricey dinner is £9.60.
Wetherspoons are also the only pub chain which includes an alcoholic or soft drink in the price of their Sunday roast, providing additional value for money.
While London was predictably the most expensive city for a roast on average, cities in the north of England are also charging more for their meals, with Liverpool's average being £10.91 and Newcastle and Sheffield's costing £10.47.
The UK average as a whole is just £9.60.
